The data set includes the results of an in vivo experiment conducted on broiler chickens randomly assigned to 2 experimental groups. The birds were fed diets containing soybean oil or fat obtained from Hermetia illucens larvae. On the 14th, 21st, 28th, and 35th day, growth performance results were measured, including body weight, feed intake, and the animals' body weight gain and feed conversion ratio were calculated. Moreover, on the 35th day, the digestibility coefficients of crude protein, ether extract, and the apparent digestible energy were determined. Morphometric measurements of selected digestive tract segments and organs were done. The pH level of intestinal content was determined in the following sections, i.e., crop, ileum, and cecum. The concentration of selected biochemical, immunological parameters, and hormones in the blood was analyzed. Measurements of the activity of selected digestive enzymes in the duodenum were performed.
