[ENG:]
This dataset contains results from an in vivo experiment conducted on laying hens. The birds were randomly assigned to three experimental groups and fed complete diets containing either soybean oil, Hermetia illucens larval fat, or a 1:1 mixture of both fat sources. On the final day of the experiment, biological samples (gastrointestinal tract digesta) were collected for laboratory analyses. The analyses included next-generation sequencing (NGS) of the gut microbiota and assessment of microbial activity through the determination of short-chain fatty acid (SCFA) concentrations in the intestinal digesta.
[PL:]
Zbiór danych obejmuje wyniki doświadczenia in vivo przeprowadzonego na kurach nioskach. Ptaki losowo przypisano do trzech grup doświadczalnych i żywiono mieszankami pełnoporcjowymi zawierającymi olej sojowy, tłuszcz z larw w Hermetia illucens, lub mieszaninę wymienoinych tłuszczów zmieszanych w proporcji 1:1. W ostatnim dniu doświadczenia pobrano materiał biologiczny (treść przewodu pokarmowego) do dalszych analiz laboratoryjnych, obejmujących sekwencjonowanie nowej generacji (NGS), określenie aktywności mikrobiologicznej poprzez określenie zawartości krótkołańcuchowych kwasów tłuszczowych w treści jelita cienkiego.
