Microscopic data of emulsion systems with iron and vit. D. Data obtained from inverted microscope manufactured by Zeiss.

Optical microscopy imaging:
- ZEISS Axio Vert.A1 microscope (Zeiss, Shanghai, China), which is an inverted microscope equipped with an Axiocam 208 color camera (Zeiss, China).
- Imaging was performed at different magnifications (objectives 20×, 40×, and oil 100×).
- The tests were performed in µ-Slide VI 0.4 cuvette (ibidi GmbH, Gräfelfing, Germany) and kept for a couple of minutes to reduce droplet speed flow.
- Obtained images were processed using ZEN3.1 blue edition software (Zeiss, Jena, Germany) and converted from .czi format into .jpeg
Main goal of the studies:
The idea of the emulsion systems as an iron carrier for food supplements brings to develop new possibilities for iron supplementation. A lot of market available products showed that iron oil suspension might impact the right suplement dosage. Suspension of iron in the emulsion system in the concept should impact the right dosage of the suplement.
Microscopic images showed high aggregation of solid iron particles.
