The main goal of the project is to develop a new synthetic route of star poly(2-oxazoline)s combining cationic ring opening polymerization of selected 2-oxazoline monomers and “click” reaction. This new innovative approach in polymers synthesis using these two types of reactions will allow to obtain in a controlled manner star structures with well-defined properties, containing amine functional groups capable of interacting with various bioactive compounds.
