The Salicornia europaea cells were image analysed through different salinity treatments 0, 200, 400, 600, and 1000 mM; many repetitions were performed. The population analysed correspond to Salicornia europaea growing in Inowrocław city in Poland. This analysis aimed to determine differences between cell dimensions influenced by different salinity environments. Na+ mainly accumulates in the parenchyma/endodermis cells and vacuoles, causing swelling in the cells.

DATA & FILE OVERVIEW
1. Salicornia cells Area under salinity levels
METHODOLOGICAL INFORMATION
From the fleshy segment stem of the middle primary branch of S. europaea plant treatments (0, 200, 400, 600, and 1000 mM NaCl) , thin slices (0.5 mm) of fresh tissue were obtained using a bi-shave razor blade (Cardenas-Perez et al., 2022). They were observed through a light microscope (LM) (Olympus BX51, USA) and a digital
camera (DP72 digital microscope camera). The area (A), were obtained from the fresh stem-cortex cells of the water-storing parenchyma
Methods for processing the data: the data was performed using FIJI ImageJ v. 1.47
DATA-SPECIFIC INFORMATION FOR: Salicornia cells Area under salinity levels
Number of variables: 5 (salinity treatments)
Number of cases/rows: more than 250 for each variable
