Number of annual increments and wood density in 3 cm fragments of cores taken from trees growing along busy roads in the city of Poznań. Wood samples in the form of core drills with a diameter of 5.15 mm, taken from the breast height (1.3 m from the base of the trees) of the main trunks. Boreholes taken with a Pressler increment borer (MORA Haglof 600 mm) from the bark towards the core of the tree. Trees growing along busy roads belonging to the Municipal Roads Authority in Poznań were selected for the study.
