This dataset comprises next-generation sequencing (NGS) data of microRNA expression profiles derived from the brain cortex of hyperammonemic rats subjected to ammonium acetate (OA) administration. The study was designed to elucidate the molecular mechanisms underlying ammonia-induced cerebrovascular dysfunction, with a particular focus on endothelial senescence. Through comparative analysis of miRNA expression in hyperammonemic and control animals, miRNA-183-5p was identified as a putative regulator of endothelial cell senescence, implicating its role in cerebrovascular density reduction and blood-brain barrier integrity disruption. The dataset provides critical insights into miRNA-mediated molecular pathways contributing to endothelial dysfunction, neurovascular aging, and potential therapeutic targets in hyperammonemia-associated neurological disorders.
