Ghazi, Babak; Przybylak, Rajmund; Oliński, Piotr, 2026, "Database of drought occurrences in Poland in the period 1101-1800 based on documentary evidence", https://doi.org/10.18150/EB525H, RepOD, V1

The database was developed as part of interdisciplinary work conducted by historians, climatologists, and hydrologists within the NCN project entitled The occurrence of extreme weather, climate and water events in Poland from the 11th to 18th centuries in the light of multiproxy data (https://extremeweather.umk.pl/pages/funding/). The database provides valuable, comprehensive information on historical droughts within Poland's current boundaries during the 12th to 18th centuries. Each drought event was attributed to one of six regions: Baltic Coast and Pomerania, Masuria-Podlasie, Greater Poland, Masovia, Silesia, and Lesser Poland. The database contains important and detailed information on drought occurrence, including location, timing, duration, and the authors’ indexation of drought duration, intensity, consequences, and drought type. In addition, the database includes the exact textual content of the original weather note, the name of the source, and an evaluation of the source’s quality.
