Data collected between 2017-2020 in the Natura 2000 area "Wielki Łęg Obrzański" PLB300004, near the village of Terespol (52°04' N, 16°17' E), pertains to basic information about the breeding of the Red-backed Shrike. This includes the breeding success rate, number of eggs, number of chicks and fledglings, nest locations (geographic coordinates), morphometric measurements of captured birds (chicks and adults), selection of nesting sites (nest concealment, species of shrub), as well as aggressive behaviors (based on behavior during ringing), neophilia (based on experiments concerning the use of new food sources and nesting materials), and nest construction (presence of man-made waste in the nest).
