This dataset contains raw inertial measurement unit (IMU) data collected to investigate spinal kinematics during wheelchair fencing lunges performed under natural and coach-guided conditions. The dataset includes measurements from eight participants, with each participant completing trials under both experimental conditions. IMU sensors were used to record time-series kinematic data during the lunge movements.
The dataset was prepared to support reproducible analysis of spinal movement patterns and comparison between natural and coach-guided execution of wheelchair fencing lunges. Data are provided as cleaned, anonymized time-series measurements while preserving the original measurement structure and variables. No filtering, trial exclusion, outlier removal, segmentation, or averaging was applied during preparation of the repository dataset.
The dataset accompanies the study “Spinal Kinematics During Wheelchair Fencing Lunges Under Natural and Coach-Guided Conditions: An Exploratory IMU-Based Study” and can be used for independent verification, secondary analyses, and further research on wheelchair fencing biomechanics and spinal kinematics.\
