Description

This dataset contains collaction of subscripitions (known also as end- or final-titles) to all four Gospels attested in Church Slavonic (Glagolitic and Cyrillic) handwritten liturgial Tetraevangelia, dated to 11th-19th c.

Deposited files:

list_of_consulted_mss.ods - contains a list of all examined handwritten liturgical Tetraevangelia with abbrevaited sigla, dating and repository's name.

list_of_critical_signs.odt - contains list of critical sings used in collation.

mss_subscritions.odt - contains collaction of subscriptions to the Gospels in Church Slavonic handwritten liturgical Tetraevagnelia. Font used for Church Slavonic texts is BukyVede. It is available for dowloand here: https://kodeks.de/AKSL/Schrift/BukyVede.htm.

Texts of all Subscriptions to the Gospels were collated manually and checked for their correctness.

All Subscriptions in Cyrillic Tetraevangelia were divided accordingly to a recently developed their new typology in Greek codices (Elmelund, C.T., Wasserman, T., „The Subscriptions to Mark’s Gospel and History of Reception”, New Testament Studies 69 (2023) 429-444).
