Files include the data presented in the manuscript entitled "Development of a Cerium-Doped Titanate/Polyphenol Nanostructured coating for Titanium Implants: Enhancing Antibacterial Properties through Ciprofloxacin Release" by M. Jakubowski et al.


Data (.tif) includes:

SEM_CeTit - SEM images were taken at 5000x magnification. The VEGA3 scanning electron microscope (Tescan, Czech Republic) was utilized to analyze the morphology of the fabricated material.

SEM_CeTit_Tan - SEM images were taken at 5000x magnification. The VEGA3 scanning electron microscope (Tescan, Czech Republic) was utilized to analyze the morphology of the fabricated material.

SEM_CeTit_Tan_Ce - SEM images were taken at 5000x magnification. The VEGA3 scanning electron microscope (Tescan, Czech Republic) was utilized to analyze the morphology of the fabricated material.

SEM_CeTit_Tan_Ce_Cipro - SEM images were taken at 5000x magnification. The VEGA3 scanning electron microscope (Tescan, Czech Republic) was utilized to analyze the morphology of the fabricated material.

SEM_Tit - SEM images were taken at 5000x magnification. The VEGA3 scanning electron microscope (Tescan, Czech Republic) was utilized to analyze the morphology of the fabricated material.


Data (.png) includes:

AFM_CeTit - The analysis was performed on an area of 60 × 60 µm.

AFM_CeTit_Tan - The analysis was performed on an area of 60 × 60 µm.

AFM_CeTit_Tan_Ce - The analysis was performed on an area of 60 × 60 µm.

AFM_CeTit_Tan_Ce_Cipro - The analysis was performed on an area of 60 × 60 µm.

AFM_NaTit - The analysis was performed on an area of 60 × 60 µm.

AFM_Tit - The analysis was performed on an area of 60 × 60 µm.


Data (.csv) includes:

FTIR_Spectra - The tests were carried out in the reflection mode, a gold mirror was used as a background and a TE-MCT detector was used.

FTIR – Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy;

Tit - Titanium alloy Ti6Al4V;

CeTit - Titanium alloy Ti6Al4V modified with cerium titanate;

NaTit - Titanium alloy Ti6Al4V modified with sodium titanate;

Tan - polyphenol layer;

Cipro - Ciprofloxacin.
