Data was obtained as part of the research project of the National Science Centre, registration number 2020/39/O/ST10/03504 (2021-2025) PRELUDIUM BIS 2 and titled: „Rekonstrukcja zmian paleośrodowiska polskich Karpat zachodnich w późnym glacjale, w oparciu o analizy litologiczne i makroszczątków osadów wybranych torfowisk osuwiskowych” ("Reconstruction of the Late Glacial paleoenvironmental changes of the Polish Western Carpathians, on the base of lithological and plant macrofossils analyses of the selected landslide fen deposits"), which was also the subject of the doctoral dissertation of the PhD student. The project manager and one of the dissertation supervisors was dr. hab. inż. Włodzimierz Margielewski, Prof. IOP PAN, from the Institute of Nature Conservation of the Polish Academy of Sciences, while the PhD student-scholarship holder and main contractor of the project was Jolanta Pilch, M.Sc. Eng. The host institution of grant realisation was the Institute of Nature Conservation, Polish Academy of Sciences in Kraków, Poland.
Geographic location of data collection: Klaklowo landslide fen (N 49°46.772'; E 19°55.383'; 466 m a.s.l.); the Beskid Makowski Mountains, the Outer Western Carpathians (S Poland).
Method of collection:
Grain size (granulometric) analysis was performed by laser diffraction on a Mastersizer 3000 granulometer (Malvern Panalytical, United Kingdom) in the geomorphological laboratory of the Institute of Geography and Spatial Management, Jagiellonian University in Kraków, in collaboration with Dr. Mateusz Stolarczyk and Dr. Łukasz Musielok. The dataset include the grain size data obtained for the Klaklowo main core in the depth section: 250-350 cm.
