Surowe dane badawcze były niezbędne przy projekcie, którego celem był odzysk metakrylanu metylu z odpadów poszlifierskich, realizowany przez firmę Rubicone w ramach projektu pt. " Innowacyjna technologia odzysku monomeru metakrylanu metylu z odpadu poprodukcyjnego płyt mineralno-akrylowych".
Celem Projektu było opracowanie technologii recyklingu surowcowego pyłu szlifierskiego, będącego odpadem poprodukcyjnym kompozytowych płyt mineralno-akrylowych (zwanych potocznie płytami solid surface), umożliwiającej odzysk monomeru metakrylanu metylu oraz jego ponowne wykorzystanie do produkcji materiału.
