This dataset documents a qualitative study of 30 popular Polish stand-up comedy performances published on YouTube between 2021 and 2025. The corpus was selected purposively using two criteria: topicality and popularity. The material was transcribed and analysed using Critical Discourse Analysis based on the approach of Ruth Wodak and Martin Reisigl, with attention to nomination, predication, argumentation, perspective-taking, intensification, and mitigation. The dataset includes corpus metadata, sampling and methodology documentation, and a coding scheme. Full working transcripts are retained as research documentation but are not included in the repository deposit because they reproduce substantial portions of copyrighted performances.
