Data was obtained as part of the research project of the National Science Centre, registration number 2020/39/O/ST10/03504 (2021-2025) PRELUDIUM BIS 2 and titled: „Rekonstrukcja zmian paleośrodowiska polskich Karpat zachodnich w późnym glacjale, w oparciu o analizy litologiczne i makroszczątków osadów wybranych torfowisk osuwiskowych” ("Reconstruction of the Late Glacial paleoenvironmental changes of the Polish Western Carpathians, on the base of lithological and plant macrofossils analyses of the selected landslide fen deposits"), which was also the subject of the doctoral dissertation of the PhD student. The project manager and one of the dissertation supervisors was dr. hab. inż. Włodzimierz Margielewski, Prof. IOP PAN, from the Institute of Nature Conservation of the Polish Academy of Sciences, while the PhD student-scholarship holder and main contractor of the project was Jolanta Pilch, M.Sc. Eng. The host institution of grant realisation was the Institute of Nature Conservation, Polish Academy of Sciences in Kraków, Poland.
Geographic location of data collection: Kotoń landslide fen (49°46'5.12''N; 19°54'12.96''E, 739 m a.s.l.) and Klaklowo landslide fen (N 49°46.772'; E 19°55.383'; 466 m a.s.l.); the Beskid Makowski Mountains, the Outer Western Carpathians (S Poland).

Method of collection:
Material for radiocarbon dating using the AMS (Acceleration Mass Spectrometry) method was obtained simultaneously with the analysis of plant macrofossils from samples of the Klaklowo and Kotoń sediment sequences at depths of 367–68 cm and 440–77 cm (main cores), respectively. The material included fruits, seeds, leaves, needles (only of terrestrial plants), and moss stems. The dating was performed by the Absolute Dating Laboratory in Kraków (in cooperation with the Center for Applied Isotope Studies, University of Georgia, U.S.A.) and the Beta Analytic, Inc. laboratory in Miami, Florida, U.S.A. A total of eighteen radiocarbon dates were obtained for the main cores: 12 for the Klaklowo peat bog sediments and 6 for the Kotoń peat bog sediments. All obtained radiocarbon dates were calibrated in OxCal v. 4.4.4 (Bronk Ramsey, 2021, 2009) using the IntCal20 calibration curve (Reimer et al., 2020).
