With the NCN reporting period nearing, we would appreciate it if you could send your data for review with sufficient lead time. Unfortunately, we will not be able to guarantee priority processing for all datasets received at once.

This project focuses on the characterization of extracts obtained from the crayfish Faxonius limosus and Procambarus clarkii, with additional analyses performed for Astacus leptodactylus. The study aims to evaluate their antioxidant properties and to investigate their potential protective effects in vitro in mouse cholinergic neurons exposed to oxidative stress.
This file contains data on the antioxidant activity of extracts obtained from three crayfish species. Two extraction solvents were used: 100% acetone and a mixture of hexane and 2-propanol (3:2). The first column indicates the extraction solvent. The letter A denotes samples extracted with acetone, while the letter H denotes samples extracted with the hexane/2-propanol mixture (3:2). The second column indicates the crayfish species code: B – Astacus leptodactylus, P – Faxonius limosus, L – Procambarus clarkii. The third column represents the concentration of the extract expressed as mg/L. The fourth column contains absorbance values obtained in the ABTS assay, while the fifth column presents values calculated from the Trolox standard curve and expressed as µM Trolox equivalents. The table presents mean values (n = 4)
