This dataset contains research data used to prepare the publication:
A. Jamois, D. Dragna, T.G. Zieliński, M.-A. Galland, "Acoustic absorption of 3D printed samples at normal incidence and as a duct liner", Acta Acustica, 9 (2025), 12 (18 pages). DOI: 10.1051/aacus/2024088
This research was supported by: (1) LABEX CeLyA (ANR-10-LABX-0060) of Universite de Lyon, within the program "Investissements d'Avenir" (ANR-16-DEX-0005) operated by the French National Research Agency (ANR); (2) (Polish) National Science Centre (NCN), Poland, under grant agreement 2021/41/B/ST8/04492.
All data are provided in columns in ASCII (.txt) files.
Files with names starting with "Absorption_" contain the sound absorption coefficient determined for the dual- and single-pore-newtork layers of the manufactired materials. Files with names starting with "Reflection_" contain the real and imaginary parts of the reflection coefficient determined the dual- and single-pore-newtork layers of the manufactired materials. These results were obtained using COMSOL Multiphysics and MATLAB environments.
Files with names starting with "EffectiveProperties_" contain the effective speed of sound (and other effective properties) calculated for the designed pore networks. These results were obtained using COMSOL Multiphysics and MATLAB environments.
The first column in each file is labeled "Freq" and lists the frequencies. The following columns provide the values of the sound absorption coefficient, the real and imaginary parts of the reflection coefficeint, or the effective speed of sound.
