This dataset contains the experimental measurements and analysis files underlying the figures presented in the article “Efficient Quasi-Resonant, Polarization-Selective Excitation of GaN Quantum Emitters.”
The dataset is associated with research investigating the optical excitation mechanisms of visible single-photon emitters in gallium nitride (GaN). These emitters are of interest for quantum photonics applications, where controlled excitation and stable, efficient emission are important. The research focuses on quasi-resonant excitation, in which the excitation laser is tuned to optical resonances above the emitter's zero-phonon line (ZPL), and on the polarization dependence of these resonances.
The experimental data were obtained through optical spectroscopy measurements of GaN quantum emitters. Photoluminescence and excitation spectroscopy were used to investigate their emission characteristics and identify excitation resonances. The excitation laser wavelength was varied to examine the dependence of the emitted photoluminescence on the excitation energy. Polarization-dependent measurements were performed to investigate the relationship between the polarization of the excitation light and the observed resonant excitation features.
The dataset includes the measurements and processed data used to generate the figures in the associated publication, including the data used to analyse excitation resonances, photoluminescence enhancement, and polarization-dependent excitation behaviour. A sperate txt file has been added to facilicate the interpretation of data.
These files are intended to support the reproduction of the figures and the verification of the results reported in the publication. They also provide a basis for further analysis and comparison with other studies of optical excitation mechanisms in semiconductor quantum emitters.
