The provided dataset contains the complete experimental measurement results collected during the characterization of Eu-doped multilayered {ZnCdO/ZnO} oxide structures grown on silicon substrates using molecular beam epitaxy. The entire data package is divided into six main thematic directories containing text files, spreadsheets, graphs, and image files. Crucially, each of these folders includes its own dedicated readme file to facilitate easy orientation within the data structure.
In the first directory, titled 01_SEM, there are scanning electron microscopy images that illustrate the studied samples. The second folder, named 02_PL_Spectroscopy, gathers experimental data from photoluminescence spectra measurements. In the third section, designated as 03_IV, the raw and processed results of current-voltage measurements are placed, which were conducted under dark conditions.
The fourth folder, 04_Raman, contains the recorded Raman spectroscopy spectra for the analyzed heterojunction structures. In the fifth directory, under the name 05_Photocurrent, smaller subfolders are separated with data concerning basic photocurrent measurements, including response kinetics and responsivity. The dataset concludes with the sixth folder, marked as 06_Synapse, which aggregates specific measurement data describing the synaptic properties of the samples, demonstrating how these structures mimic biological neural plasticity under a series of optical pulses. These measurements are stored both in universal text and tabular formats, such as .txt, .dat, and .csv, as well as in the form of ready-made Origin and Excel project files that include calculations and characteristic plots.
