Phylogeny of beta Nac reconstructed for homologs from 9 pre- and 13 post-WGD Saccharomycetacae species and 41 homologs from other Ascomycota species using Maximum Likelihood method with LG + I + F +G4 model of evolution. The tree topology was constrained such that the post WGD sequences (colored) share common ancestry at the WGD node. The number of amino acid substitutions (72) mapped on the branch leading to the common ancestor of Nacb2 from the Saccharomyces clade is indicated. The tree was rooted with Schizosaccharomyces Nacb2 as an outgroup. Bootstrap support is indicated for the major nodes. Scale bar – amino acid substitutions per site.
