Dissolution.xlsx - data represent the percentage of rutin released. Columns indicate the systems tested, rows the corresponding time points. Using an Agilent 708-DS dissolution device, electrospun nanofibers were studied for their dissolution behaviors. A typical basket method was applied, stirring at 50 rpm and 37 ± 0.5 °C. Nanofibers were added to 300 mL of artificial saliva solution and adjusted to pH to 6.8 with 1 M HCl. At certain intervals (0,25, 0,5, 1, 2, 4, 6, 12, 24h), liquid samples were taken, and an equivalent volume of medium that had been adjusted for temperature was added. A nylon membrane filter with a diameter of 0.45 μm was used to filter the samples. The concentration was determined using the HPLC method (https://doi.org/10.3390/ma17112558) and converted, relative to the weight, into the percentage of the substance released during the experiment.
Mucoadhesion.xlsx - data represent the component of bioadhesion. Columns indicate the systems tested, rows the rate of shear. Data are presented in cps. The viscosity values were evaluated at shear rate from 5 to 20 1/s using a LV-3 spindle Brookfield DV2T viscometer at 25 °C, assessed using Rheocalc T software. Component of bioadhesion was presented as the viscosity of the samples.
