The files contain research data described in the manuscript entitled: “Anillin Recedes in p53-Dependent Senescence of Tumor Cells and Reappears in Cells Escaping from Senescence.”
The dataset includes the kinetics of changes in the protein levels of anillin and p53 in breast cancer MCF-7 and colon cancer HCT116 cells induced to senesce by doxorubicin. It also contains a heat map illustrating the levels of anillin and p53 proteins in the analyzed model of senescence escape (MCF-7 and HCT116 cells).
Additionally, the dataset includes an analysis of bromodeoxyuridine incorporation, as well as an assessment of the number of cells exhibiting increased activity of senescence-associated β-galactosidase in MCF-7 and HCT116 cells induced to senesce by doxorubicin.
The dataset is part of a research project investigating the mechanisms underlying cancer cell escape from senescence, funded by the National Science Centre, Poland, under the SONATINA 5 program (grant number 2021/40/C/NZ3/00057).
