This dataset contains raw data from the spectroscopic analyses of a series of 8copper(II) complexes with 2,2′:6′,2″-terpyridine derivatives displaying dimeric dichloro–μ–bridged crystal structure. The included data consists of results collected for FT-IR spectroscopic measurements, static UV-Vis measurements of compounds and their free ligands in DMSO solution, UV-Vis kinetic measurements of compounds in DMSO and in PBS buffer solutions for 48h and UV-Vis reflectance spectra of compounds in powder. Furthermore, data from fluorescent DNA-binding experiments with ethidium bromide displacement assay are included.
