The dataset is connected with the project where main goal is elucidation and description of mechanisms of decreased survival (in the first and second generations), and decreased DNA stability (in subsequent generations) after constant exposure of cricket cohorts (Acheta domesticus -model organism) to sublethal amounts of GO in their food, and also evaluation of physiological and biochemical symptoms of adjustment to such stressful condition.
The partgoals of this project are to check and describe:
* analysis of microbiome in non-exposed crickets from two different strains.
* comparative analysis of health parameters measured as activity of 19 selected gut enzymes and antioxidative parameters in two strains of crickets selected for longevity
*Food and energy budget analysis in two cricket strains
*Survival in insects in one generation
*Comparison of DNA damage in two strains of crickets
The presented dataset consists of results for key cell health parameters that may change across different life strategies in two strains selected for longevity. The investigated parameters are: microbiome analysis, gut enzymes activity analysis, food and energy budget, survival, antioxidant response (Cat and TAC), DNA damage (comet assay and ATM-dependent signaling pathway)
