Database from the study titled: "Exploring orthorexia nervosa risk in high school and university students: associations with perceived social support, body esteem, and diet quality". Data were collected from a sample of 261 Polish high school and university students through a cross-sectional study conducted from 2022 to 2025. High school students from gastronomic and comprehensive education programs, as well as university students of nutrition-related and non-nutrition-related majors, were invited to participate in the study. The study included three high schools and one university located in the Masovian voivodeship in Poland. The study was carried out using an auditorium survey by a paper and pen personal interview (PAPI) technique during lessons and lectures at high schools and university. The work was made possible with the support of a scholarship from the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) awarded to Marta Plichta. The scholarship was carried out under the supervision of Prof. Nanette Stroebele‐Benschop at the Department of Applied Nutritional Psychology, the Institute of Nutritional Medicine, the University of Hohenheim in Stuttgart, Germany.
