The deposited data were generated within a research project focused on the preparation and characterization of multicomponent Ni-Mn-In-based Heusler alloy powders obtained by mechanical synthesis. The research was aimed at investigating the influence of processing conditions on the structure, morphology, chemical composition and thermal behaviour of the synthesized powders.
The dataset contains experimental data obtained during the synthesis and characterization of the investigated materials. The deposited data include the following categories:
Scanning electron microscopy and energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (SEM/EDS): representative micrographs documenting the morphology and microstructure of the investigated powders, together with EDS spectra, elemental composition data and, where applicable, elemental distribution maps.
Transmission electron microscopy (TEM): electron microscopy images and related structural characterization data for selected samples.
X-ray diffraction (XRD): experimental diffraction data in raw and processed form, including diffraction patterns used for structural and phase analysis of the synthesized materials.
Differential scanning calorimetry (DSC): experimental thermal analysis data used to characterize thermal effects and phase transformations in the investigated materials.
The data were generated at the University of Silesia in Katowice within a project funded by the National Science Centre, Poland, under the MINIATURA programme. The data files are subject to an embargo until publication of the corresponding scientific results. The embargo will be lifted when the related research results are published. Information on related scientific publications will be added to the dataset metadata after publication.
