Description

This metadata file describes the supplementary experimental data provided in the following zip-folders:

The dataset contains structural, textural, spectroscopic, optical, photophysical, surface-composition, and gas chromatography data related to the cerium-based metal-organic framework UiO-66(Ce) and its composites with carboxyl-functionalized Ti3C2 MXene (Ti3C2COOHx). The data support the characterization of pristine UiO-66(Ce), MXene materials, their precursors, and composites with varying MXene contents, as well as their application in selective visible-light-induced methanol oxidation to formaldehyde. The dataset also includes measurements used to assess material stability after photocatalysis and analyse gaseous reaction products and by-products.

Files can be opened with Notepad, Microsoft Excel, Adobe Acrobat Reader, Origin, or similar applications, depending on the file format. XRD data provided in Bruker .raw format require compatible diffraction software, such as Bruker DIFFRAC.EVA, or conversion to a standard text format.
