This dataset contains raw and processed data supporting the spectroelectrochemical study of floating lipid membranes formed on gold electrodes modified with β-thioglucose. Using surface-enhanced infrared absorption spectroscopy (SEIRAS) under electrochemical control, we investigated the structural and dynamic properties of lipid bilayers in Tris buffer under applied electric potentials. The dataset includes SEIRAS spectra, deconvoluted peak components. These measurements reveal how Tris buffer components and applied electric fields affect bilayer organization, water orientation, and lipid–surface interactions. The data were collected using a Nicolet iS50 FTIR spectrometer and CHI650E potentiostat, and processed with Origin2022. All spectra are provided in plain text format for reuse and reanalysis. The dataset complements the findings presented in the manuscript “Spectroelectrochemical properties of floating lipid membranes in Tris organic buffer” (Majewska et al., J. Phys. Chem. C, 2025, DOI: 10.1021/acs.jpcc.5c00996) and is intended to support further research in electroactive biomimetic interfaces.
