Dear Scientist,
This database contains experimental data collected during the study:
"LWIR InAs/InAsSb Superlattice Detector for Cooled FPA",
presented at the 18th International Workshop on Advanced Infrared Technology and Applications (AITA 2025), Kobe, Japan, and funded by the National Science Centre, Poland (Grant reference: UMO-2023/51/B/ST7/02340).
The study concerns the design and experimental characterization of an InAs/InAsSb type-II superlattice (T2SL) nBn detector intended for long-wavelength infrared (LWIR) focal plane array (FPA) applications.
The detector was optimized for operation near 80 K with a cut-off wavelength of approximately 8.5–9 µm. The work focuses on evaluation of:
- quantum efficiency under different bias conditions,
- dark current density over a wide temperature range (40–280 K),
- transition between diffusion-limited and generation–recombination (GR) dominated regimes,
- comparison with the empirical “Rule 07” benchmark.
The file structure reflects measurement techniques and modeling approaches used in the study.
The database contains the following folders and files:
- Dark_current_density_vs_voltage_abs.csv
- Dark_current_vs_voltage_abs.csv
- Dark_current_vs_voltage.csv
- Spectral_response_LWIR_1.csv

This database is intended for researchers working on LWIR focal plane array detectors, barrier detector architectures, and performance optimization of type-II superlattice infrared devices.
