The data source pertains to the measurement of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) using a passive method based on Fick's First Law. Standard TD tubes filled with 200 mg of Tenax GR were utilized, with a 1.5 cm air gap between the sample end and the sorbent surface. The diffusion area was 0.196 cm². Prior to measurements, tubes were conditioned at 280°C for 30 minutes, showing no target VOCs post-conditioning.
The exposure time for the tubes was 7 days, during which they were equipped with a diffusion cap. After exposure, the cap was replaced with a storage cap, and the tubes were stored at -12°C before analysis. Thermal desorption followed by gas chromatography (TD-GC/FID) was performed to analyze the samples.
nd: Not Detected – indicates that a compound was not found in the sample.
LOD: Limit of Detection – the lowest concentration of a substance that can be reliably detected.
LOQ: Limit of Quantification – the lowest concentration of a substance that can be quantitatively measured with acceptable precision and accuracy.
