This dataset contains raw and processed data from the Microtox acute toxicity assay performed for 3D-printed microneedle systems containing agomelatine. The tested samples included microneedle systems fabricated using MSLA and PolyJet 3D-printing techniques, with different geometries and drug-loading strategies. Agomelatine was introduced either by coating the microneedles with hydrogel formulations or by direct incorporation into a photocurable resin. Placebo microneedle systems without agomelatine were also included as reference samples.
The dataset includes raw MicrotoxOmni output reports in .xls format and one processed spreadsheet in .xlsx format. The raw files contain original results from the 81.9% Screening Test, including sample names, test metadata, Gamma values and percentage effect values recorded after 5 and 15 minutes of exposure. The processed file contains curated data, sample masses, mean values, standard deviations and toxicity effects normalized to the mass of the tested microneedle samples.
