This dataset contains data from the photostability study of 3D-printed microneedle systems containing agomelatine. The dataset includes the results of agomelatine content determination in control samples and in samples exposed to light. The aim of the study was to evaluate the effect of light exposure on the amount of agomelatine in different variants of microneedle systems.
The analyzed systems included microneedles fabricated using MSLA and PolyJet 3D-printing techniques, mainly with cone-shaped and pyramid-shaped geometries. Agomelatine was introduced into the systems either by coating the microneedles with hydrogel formulations containing the drug or by direct incorporation of agomelatine into the photocurable resin.
