The collection contains experimental research data obtained during preparation and characterization of electroactive and pH-responsive microgel based on acrylic acid, dopamine methacrylamide and crosslinked with N,N′-bis(acryloyl)cystamine. The obtained microgel particles were characterized with cyclic voltammetry and DLS techniques, and also NMR spectroscopy. Microgel was successfully anchored on the Au electrodes (QCM-D, Au regular- and microelectrode) surface through the chemisorption process. Experimental results shows that modified electrodes exhibited potentially useful properties for electrochemical pH-sensing.
