Dataset containing raw data obtained through funding provided by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education for Poznan University of Technology under projects 0412/SIGR/6579 and 0412/SBAD/0091, focused on the development of low-emission photocatalytic cement composites incorporating co-milled TiO2–fly ash and TiO2–calcium carbonate systems.
The dataset includes FTIR results (Vertex 70, Bruker) for powder materials, including titanium(IV) oxide in anatase form and P25, calcium carbonate, fly ash, Portland cement, blast furnace slag, and co-milled systems. It also contains particle size distribution data obtained using a Zetasizer Nano ZS (Malvern Instruments Ltd.) and XRF analyses (Hitachi HT7700) of the studied powders. Furthermore, the dataset provides information on the heat of hydration of cement composites determined using the semi-adiabatic method (TESTING Bluhm & Feuerherdt GmbH), as well as flexural and compressive strength tests (Matest S.p.A., Treviolo BG) performed on 40×40×160 mm cement composite samples after 3, 28, and 150 days of curing. In addition, SEM microstructural images (TESCAN VEGA3) are included.
Abbreviations and notations used are as follows: AN – TiO2 in anatase form, P25 – TiO2 (P25), CEM – Portland cement, Pop or FA – fly ash, CaCO3 or CC – calcium carbonate, Ż or SL – blast furnace slag. For the cement composites, Series 1 includes Portland cement and fly ash, Series 2 includes Portland cement, fly ash, and slag, while Series 3 includes Portland cement, blast furnace slag, and calcium carbonate. In systems marked MAN or MP25, fly ash (Series 1 and 2) or calcium carbonate (Series 3) was pre-milled with the respective form of TiO2 (AN or P25).
