This dataset contains data obtained along the validation of the newly proposed the modified tangent cluster model for elastic–plastic composites with regular particle arrangement, which is formulated based on a modified tangent linearization of the metal matrix response. The model was formulated in the related publications where also the numerical algorithm for the model implementations was described. The model was validated by performing simulations for two-phase composites, either reinforced by ceramic inclusions or weakened by voids, with mechanical properties included in Table 3 of related publication. Inclusions were arranged in regular cubic (RC) and body centre cubic (BCC) lattices. Validation was performed with respect to the own reference calculations performed on unit cells by finite element method for: isochoric tension with main loading direction along the unit cell edge (0,0,1) or along the unit cell diagonal (1,1,1), and for the hydrostatic expansion. The calculations have been performed with the Wolfram Mathematica as concerns mean-field cluster model and by AceFEM in case of full-field analyses.
The data are listed in Fig<X><name>.dat files. They include data points being the results of the performed calculations with a new model for the curve(s) presented in figure <X> of the related article. <name> indicates the case and the method or the model and its variant used to obtain the data points of a given curve. The tabular format used enables these curves to be reconstructed in any graphical program like gnuplot, MSExcel, Mathematica or similar enabling one to compare their model predictions with our proposal.
The type and meaning of subsequent columns of data is described in details in file: readme.txt.
