This collection contains a description of the holdings of the Moravian Land Archives in Brno (Czech Republic) related to the Russian Catholic Alexandra von Dietrichstein, née Šuvalova, ), who has never before been the subject of scholarly analysis. This is an original study based on archival research conducted at the Moravian Land Archive in the Czech Republic..
The Czech description of the holdings has been verified and translated into Polish. Documents necessary for grant-related research have been included.
The collection covers personal, property, legal, and family documents, as well as samples of Alexandra’s artistic work. The structured description allows for easy access to the digitized materials stored in the archive and is highly useful for preparing publications about Alexandra von Dietrichstein. It provides valuable insights into her social and family connections as well as her social status.
