This database contains experimental data collected during the study:
"Design and Experimental Demonstration of a Zero-Valence-Band-Offset InAs/InAsSb nBn LWIR Detector",
funded by the National Science Centre, Poland (Grant reference: UMO-2023/51/B/ST7/02340).
The study focuses on the design, fabrication, and experimental validation of an optimized nBn LWIR detector architecture employing an AlGaAsSb barrier engineered to achieve nearly zero valence band offset (VBO) at the absorber–barrier interface.
The purpose of the project was to demonstrate that precise VBO engineering enables:
- efficient minority-carrier extraction,
- minimized interfacial recombination,
- reduced operating bias,
- improved responsivity-to-dark-current trade-off.
The file structure reflects measurement techniques used to validate device performance.
