Ten zbiór danych zawiera listę źródeł użytych w tym artykule, a także kolekcje linków do bibliotek cyfrowych (głównie polona.pl), odnoszących do zdigitalizowanych źródeł dziewiętnastowiecznych. Kolekcja cyfrowa źródeł jest udostępniana na zasadach Open access.
Celem artykułu jest analiza warunków zdobywania zawodu nauczycielki domowej przez kobiety w kontekście zmian społeczno-kulturowych w Królestwie Polskim ostatniego kwartału XIX w. Droga kobiet do zawodu nauczycielskiego przechodziła w latach 1864–1904 istotne zmiany na różnych płaszczyznach. Opierając się na róż- norodnych źródłach – aktach prawnych, dokumentach administracyjnych, a także osobistych świadectwach bezpośrednich (wspomnieniach, listach, listach do prasy), wskazuję kierunki zmiany w zawodzie guwernantki.
