This data present the interaction between shock waves and boundary layers in half nozzles under varying nozzle pressure ratios (NPR) and inlet air humidity. Three nozzle geometries (N1, N2, N3) with distinct expansion rates were tested experimentally and numerically under varying nozzle pressure ratios (NPR = 1.4, 1.6, 1.8) and relative humidity levels (30%, 50%, 70%). Experimental methods included Schlieren imaging and high-frequency pressure transducers.
The dataset includes:
VIDEO data - N1,N2,N3 nozzle, NPR =1.4, 1.6, 1.8, humidity levels 30, 50, 70% with time and frame number for HF pressure data (start at 0 ms HF static pressure data)
PRESSURE DATA - excel format in columns:
- time of measurement [s]
- P1AC [kPa], P2AC [kPa], P3AC [kPa] (A) - high frequency static pressures
- X: P1AC [kPa] (A) / PSD, Y: P1AC [kPa] (A) / PSD - Power spectral density analyzis for three HF pressures
- P1- P30 - data on the time-averaged static pressure at various locations in the nozzle
